Travelmomo is a showcase of how we develop an online platform from the beginning by creating a unique brand identity to develop all travel contents and the entire website with social media.
Running a bilingual website is complicate. If you want to communicate well, Google translation is definitely NOT a solution simply because the culture context is very different between the West and Chinese. Well, copy writing is our expertise so it is not that difficult for us. The bigger challenge is how to manage a bilingual website without having to upload content twice.
All of Travelmomo’s original contents, including images and copy, are valuable. So we try our best to protect the content by NOT allow right-click and put a logo on the images. Is it good enough? Well, it depends. It is impossible to stop the professional thieves who have the skills and no respect to others intellectual property (they probably can’t do it themselves) yet we still try our best to put some protection mechanism in.
As the Internet, search engines and mobile devices continued to evolve, so should the website. In general, any corporate websites have to be reviewed from time to time to make sure that all brand/product information are up-to-date as well as to be displayed decently and appropriately to your target audience.
